How the Out Door Random SEARCH Selector works
:
All personnel activate the selector on ENTRANCE or EXIT activating the UNIT located within ( 5) feet from the selector,
THE UNIT indicates a
pass or a search with the illumination of either a Green or a Red light.If a search is indicated, A red light as well as a buzzer will sound.
The duration for the buzzer is shorter for a pass
Two Means of activation
Pressure Matt Activation -as one steps on the matt
Push Button- Cord 3 feet in length - security guard presses button as one passes
A red light accompanied by a high tone indicates a search, while a green light with a low tone indicates a pass.The overall percentage of personnel to be selected can be adjusted from 0- to 100% The selection is random and the odds of being selected are the same every time the button Is pressed.
PERSONNEL are unaware of the selector settings so even when 0% is selected it has a deterrent value. Pressing the button maintains an awareness of your search policy. The search conducted should be as thorough as is necessary to determine that the person searched has no property in there possession or weapons in some cases.
Optional : The system can be enhanced by, using CCTV to oversee and record the search procedures. This will allow you to ensure that your search policy is adhered to at all time's. No one is a friend of the guard any more.

Adjusting the Percentage: To Set the percentage turn the key left to adjust position,
then use the middle up/down buttons (2-3) to set the desired percentage
Using the Search and Pass counters:
key removed press the left switch (1) to show the number of searches
key removed press the right switch (4) to show the number of passes
Resetting the Counters:
Press and Hold the left and right switches (1 and 4) and turn the key to the adjust position

First enter the Edit Menu:
With the key in the fixed position press buttons (1 and 2) together
Now Turn the Key to the adjust position
The up/down buttons can be pressed to step thru the variable settings
